Fuss free, no nonsense business account

I banked with a well-known high Street bank for 50 years. When the pandemic struck I had to apply for a bounce back loan but could only do it through their website. Except it wouldn't accept my account number! Weeks of unanswered phone calls, plus many visits to branches with 3 hour queues where no one could help me anyway.... and I thought 'so much for loyalty'. I found Starling Bank via Google and opened a business account within seconds. They transferred everything from my old bank without fuss. I applied for the bounce back loan online and it was instantly approved. Their banking app is perfect, its not been designed as an addition, it's the way they do business so it's been designed with the user in mind. Intuitive, fast, and fuss free. I've been so impressed I transferred my personal accounts over too. Sorry Lloyd's, should have tried harder! Reviewed on: 15th March 2022
