User friendly and financially useful tools

Moneybox is such a well informed and easy to use app which has definitely helped me become more financially focused when saving for a first home. The app is user friendly and easy to navigate and can easily tailor your financial goals based on your own financial circumstances which I feel does help you to create small manageable goals without feeling overwhelmed. Round up features are particularly helpful even if you can't commit to putting larger chunks towards a deposit each month as you are still at least saving some money and putting it into a dedicated ISA Reviewed on: 13th April 2026

Simple & User Friendly

Snoop has been the best app to use when you want to find a way to save a few extra pounds. It's simple yet user friendly interface gives you a great insight into your spending habits all whilst giving you recommendations on ways to save on bills by making you aware of offers with specific companies that could save you money by making the switch. Overall being able to compare spending habits from one month to another across multiple accounts (which is made easy through open banking) has been a huge help and I'd highly recommend using this app if you like an analytical approach to finances as well the reminders of what bills are due per week.
