The Freelancer's Haven

When I left my day job and decided to embark on one of life's most notorious but scariest adventures of all...I was, so gratefully, informed of the HSBC Kinetic Business Banking app by a wonderful customer service rep on the phone whom I was talking to about opening a new account as a sole trader. I felt like the captain of the Titanic who was told about the fateful iceberg well before the ship set sail from Southampton. HSBC had me fully prepared for my journey. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

The app couldnt be more perfect for a creative sole trader not registered with Companies House.

I love it. As I called up HSBC all those months ago dreading having to open another personal checking account out for all my new freelance sole trading purposes, I was duly advised that I need to be careful with that as I'm not really supposed to be "doing business" via a personal account, and it could be closed. I was then pitched HSBC Kinetic...and well...the rest is history they say. I've already done my first big job through it and paid all my supplier's invoices. I've even introduced it to my accountant.
