My profession was banking consultant

A totally brilliant bank. Works for its customers rather than itself. Products straightforward. Access to your account details immediately. Notifies you whenever ther's been a transaction against the account. You know immediately where you stand. Has friendly staff on the phone should you need to ask a question. Has absolutely no drawbacks. Used to bank with HSBC. They have closed the nearest (busy) branch from my home so I used the branch in the local town, a busy town and they are closing that branch also. I know from past knowledge that they have a fatal flaw in their business model, but they aren't interested in learning about it. Starling just looks after your money, treats it as your money and is impressively efficient. Can't fault it. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022
