Friendly and community spirited

We have had a mortgage now with the society for nearly thirty years and I have to speak as I find, they are amazing, through the tough times, we have had a few, they listen, advise and they treat you with respect and kindness as much as if You were about to deposit a million pound. Absolutely shocking

Took 2 months to respond to a request to re-finance. Hiked up the monthyl repayments by 18% without explanation. Reviewed on: 14th August 2022

Poor underwriting process

The society has massive delays on underwriting mortgages. The excuse is low staffing. They also change timescales without warning. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022
