Review of the M&S Bank - Marks and Spencer, Current Account:

Nice on Paper...

I switched to M&S bank on a recommendation from moneysavirngexpert.com. I was drawn in by the £125 gift card and the 5% monthly saver. However, here is where the good points end. The online banking is some of the most basic I have seen and not very user friendly. The same goes for the app - the only function it serves is to view your balance. The real final straw is the fact that you can only withdraw cash from M&S or HSBC ATMS. This is simply ridiculous, especially since there is one M&S ATM where I live, which is within the store and closes at 6pm, and one HSBC in the City Centre. If you are out and about without cash, then it is tough luck. Reviewed on: 8th December 2017
