Great low cost online bank

No frills, no fuss online banking, simple and easy to use, and very cost effective. My tiny company started banking with Mettle in 2004 and I haven't had any problems so far (touch wood). Reviewed on: 8th April 2026

Excellent "New Wave" Bank

I opened an account with Cashplus in September 2021, to support a new e-commerce business I started. It has operated perfectly since then, and has cost me nothing. I can keep an eye on the account using my mobile, and if I need a print-out it's not a problem. I don't need a local branch, as all my receipts are via online transfers, but I could still pay cash in if necessary by visiting my local Post Office. I'm told it will integrate with my business accounting system, so I can't think of any negatives. I'd call it "no sweat banking" - leaving me more time to devote to the business.
