Super app, good customer service but steep rates.

The app is excellent. Customer service is very good. The rates available to me were not great, but one of the only offers at the time I applied. Application was fast and easy. Reviewed on: 4th March 2024

Easy and quick application with a good app

Applying for a Zopa, personal loan is very easy, and once I was accepted funds were transferred very quickly. I like to use the Zopa app, to stay on top of my finances. It’s very intuitive and user friendly. Thanks Zopa Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

Good enough

I opened a joint bank account with my husband shortly after getting married. Everything was easy enough and straight forward, app all good and customer service was friendly. The only downside is we were assured that opening the account wouldn’t affect our credit files as we were building credit for a mortgage application. It did affect it, as they carried out searches to open the new account, which dropped our credit by several dozen points for over 3 months. Very frustrating as the advisor seemed very convincing. Perhaps she believed it wouldn’t affect it, if so, additional ongoing training should be implemented. Reviewed on: 29th March 2022

Lifetime ISA makes saving easy

Hoping to buy our first home, but struggling to put away much money to get the deposit. I heard about Skipton from a friend and now my partner and I both have a LISA and find it easier to put money away knowing the gov top up anything we save. It also stops us from spending it. The accounts were easy to set up and information clear to understand, on the few instances I’ve spoken to staff they have been knowledgeable and friendly. The app is also nice and easy to use. Quick and easy process

I had a thin credit file and was working on building my credit with a few different credit cards. Once my credit rating went up, I applied for a small zopa loan to consolidate everything with much better rates. I applied in the morning and it was super quick and easy, money was in my bank by lunchtime. My first direct debit came out just a few days ago. Simple and pain free process so far.
