Review of the HSBC Kinetic, Business account:

No link to accountancy packages

When I was advised to move my business account to Kinetic by HSBC no one mentioned that there is no link to accountancy packages and that all transactions have to be manually uploaded. What an oversight that has cost me so much time and energy. The app itself and customer services on the app are good. But when I complained to HSBC they have done nothing. The complaint was ignored, not responded to, no apology when I chased it, no acknowledgement of the issue, terrible customer service - and its a complaints department! They tried to blame Quickbooks but I know that they had no links to any accountancy packages on launch. So I don't now trust them. Its too much of a hassle to move my account but I wouldn't recommend it to others. Business benefits they offer also don't benefit me at all. Reviewed on: 31st March 2022
