Saving money by accident

I was recommended the Moneybox app by a Friend at work 2 years ago who explained it to me as a way of saving money by roping up the pennies. I have never had a great deal of money left at the end of each month and saving and investing was something I am very bad at doing, but the simplicity of this app and the way it has allowed me to create an investment simply by topping up the pennies for every purchase I routinely spend has been a godsend because I simply would not have invested money otherwise. It’s been a huge weight off my shoulders to watch a pot of money grow each week without having to consciously plan each month, it’s the automatically rounded up pennies that have become pounds and now I know that if the family is going to have a financial problem or a higher than usual spend one month then we have savings to call on. The app is simple, communication excellent and without it I would hardly have any savings at all, it has given me price of mind and changed my outlook on saving versus borrowing.
