I tried to get a life insurance policy with L&G and was turned down based on one letter from my GP. If they had an AHMP employed in their company, they would see no pattern of behaviour. There aren't multiple letters/reports from SABP, no SCARF reports, and nothing from SECamb and yet, they felt its okay to discriminate someone based on one incident that was not serious.
This is why mental health is continuing to be shunned. Companies like L&G ensure that this discrimination continues. Do not use their "company". They are absolutely horrid.
