PayPal credit card payment stopped by PayPal

Usually all good with PayPal but last week I was trying to make a payment with my PayPal credit card however PayPal stopped the payment 3 times. I was told there was a system update and to try again in a few hours. I attempted payment twice more but again PayPal stopped the payment. i rang customer support again only to be told I now had to wait 72 hours for the system to update so I could try again. Needless to say I haven't bothered attempting another online payment, pity, it has left me sceptical about being able to make an online payment successfully. Reviewed on: 6th April 2026

I always avail if PayPal credit, it conveniently allows my to spread my £100+ purchases interest free over 4 months... LOVE IT! Reviewed on: 13th June 2022
