Pay award savings

After 3 years of public sector pay freezes, I was given a small pay uplift a few years ago. I decided that as I wasn't used to having a payrise that I would invest it into the Credit Union. Some years later I've got a nice pot for emergencies. Annual statements mean I forget it exists and then get a nice surprise! I always recommend the Credit Union to friends, family & colleagues.
