Helpful and judgement-free

Right from the start, StepChange were full of support and judgement-free. It was all really easy: I gave them the details of my debts, signed a direct debit agreement and that was it! It took 2-3 years overall, and £18k later my debts are cleared. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Absolute life savers

I approached StepChange when overwhelmed with debt, not knowing how to manage it and the stress that came with it. At no point during the setup process did I feel chastised or made to feel bad for my debt, which in itself was such a relief. I’ve been with them now for 2 years and I’m nearly at the point of clearing off my debt, the thought of which brings me hope and excitement that I never would have dreamed of having before.
