StepChange the way to get your life back on track.

I was drowning in debt and was so stressed about it not knowing how to deal with it. once I built up enough courage to make that initial call I felt the weight of the world had been lifted. I didn’t feel judged and they gave me a clear plan on how to make a realistic debt management plan. Ten years on I have changed the way I spend money by ensuring I pay in cash that I have saved instead of using credit with the high interest rates. The valuable information and support I received from StepChange I now share with friends and family who may be heading in the same direction I was going prior to taking control of my debt. I was in deep despair over my debt feeling embarrass...

I was in deep despair over my debt feeling embarrassed and a failure despite working 2 jobs trying to keep my head about water. I finally got the courage and after a non judgmental conversation over the phone, they set me up with a debt management plan. One that was realistic and affordable. I have paid just over half of my debt back which is a massive achievement and I will continue with this until it has been paid in full. The benefit of using StepChange is that they gelp you set up a monthly budget will leads to becoming debt free. I would definitely recommend StepChange to anyone with financial issues. Ability to live again without the constant worries

I unfortunately run up over £25,000 in debt and was at a point that whatever I did I still couldn’t meet the payments. Having nearly lost all hope and was suffering from stress and sleepless nights I finally contacted StepChange who has not only supported me in setting up a debt management plan with my creditors, it provides me with really helpful tips on how to save money but also provide non judgmental advice. This gave me the hope and skills to take ownership of my budget and have set goals each month. I can update my plan at anytime so if circumstances change I don’t have to worry about it.
