Fantastic insurance provider Car & Home

Previously I was with an alternative Insurance provider Sainsburys Bank. Everything was fine with them till I purchased a new car on a weekend. I found that I couldn’t speak to a telephone advisor as they didn’t function at that time so I had to make the amendments to my policy via the internet. Their internet page glitched which resulted in my estimated mileage pre-populating 160,000 miles for the year. This made my insurance re-quote spike. Instead of paying within the region of £30pm, it was recalculated at £85 pm which is extremely high. I had only changed my car for a VW from an Audi and the spec was similar. I attempted to call them to have this rectified but they refused to do anything and blamed their processes. I was stuck with this extremely high premium for 6 months till I could switch provider. I am really happy with Policy Expert because not only is their insurance premiums affordable, the process online is really straight forward. I was so impressed that I also re-newed my home insurance with them too. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
