I was struggling with managing to pay my debts and I turned to Stepchange to help me find the best solution. At first I felt embarrassed at my situation but the lady who answered my call was very caring, understanding and reassuring. It wasn't too long before we worked out the best solution for me and I began to feel more positive regarding my situation. It was the most important I made in a long time. Help when I needed it

I was drowning in debt and after a bogus phone call from someone who said they could help me I contacted Stepchange. I am so glad I did because their help and advice has really helped. The person who handled my call 2 years ago was non-judgemental, listened to my story and pointed me to the right help.
