The Best Debt Management Company

I was referred to Stepchange when my husband left me with a huge credit card bill that I had no way of paying as I'm disabled and was unable to work. I buried my head in the sand at first as i was so embarrassed which wasn't the best thing to do as the credit card company piled on the interest onto my debt to the tune of another £4,000! Eventually I plucked up the courage to phone StepChange and they couldn't have been nicer. They put me at ease and weren't judgemental and helped me to work out a debt management plan that helped me to repay the debt at a manageable amount every month. They reviewed my budget every year to make sure I could manage to repay the amount without struggling. Once your debt management plan is in place you can also do your yearly review online instead of speaking to an advisor which I did once and found so easy to do. I made my last payment a few days ago and i can't believe that I'm now DEBT FREE!!! A few years ago I thought I'd never see this day and now it's here. I'm used to putting that amount of money away each month so now I will continue to put that money away into my savings and it will help me to save for a rainy day. I will never have another credit card again. Thanks to StepChange I'm now in a position I never thought I could achieve and I'd like to say a massive thank you to all at StepChange for the help I've received over the last few years. I would recommend StepChange to everyone in debt and don't be afraid to phone them up because they are so helpful and understanding and above all they won't judge you.
