Review of the Admiral, Car insurance:

Does not live up to its name

They must be one of the worst car insurance businesses in the UK. I changed my car from a Honda CRV with a 27 group rating to a Peugeot 2008 with a 14 group rating and my insurance costs rose by over £100 a year. When I queried this they said car grouping was meaningless and they were not prepared to discuss their underwriting secrets with anyone, When I objected again they told me the matter was closed and that if I had an accident then the monthly payments would be cancelled and I would have to pay the remaining installments as a lump sum, The lady was arrogant and had certainly no customer service skills, Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

I have been with them 3 years

I have been with Admiral 3 years and although I can no longer save through Admiral points which is a shame my renewal premium last November was fairly competitive so I hope that they will be as just as competitive this October when my next renewal becomes due, Reviewed on: 13th August 2022
