Insured a caravan with The Caravan (and Motorhome) Club

Insured a caravan with The Caravan (and Motorhome) Club most years for the last five decades. Only had to claim occasionally for minor issues eg - blown tyres causing bodywork damage but recovery good and reimbursement fine. Reviewed on: 12th October 2024

Reliable friendly service for caravanners

We had worldwide health insurance and Red Pennant breakdown insurance separately. However, when friends on a site in Spain slipped and suffered an ankle injury we saw how difficult it was to deal with two insurance companies to get the couple and their car/caravan home to the UK. We now use Red Pennant with health cover to avoid this problem if something similar happens to us. We also peg down our caravan step so it cannot slip on the awning ground sheet.....
