After a minor bump when someone reversed out of a parking space into my car I was initially told they couldn’t start a claim without the third party’s address despite having their name, phone number and registration. On the second attempt after 40 minutes the call handler wasn’t able to provide any information on how a choice of hire car they gave me would impact my claim or future insurance costs, stating he would need to put me through to customer services and the claim would be put on hold until they were next available (4days). I was not given any options about taking legal action. Extremely frustrating process and very unhelpful even to make a no-fault claim. Inadequate information to make informed choices.
