ONLY available policy for skiers over the age of 76

I am 78 and I have been skiing since I was 38, in the USA for the last 14 years, enjoying 62-day trips to Colorado, Wyoming and Utah but tis year I ran up against the 76+ age group: barrier. I could not buy Travel Insurance at all until the meerkats found me the ONLY available policy for skiers over the age of 76. The only constraint is that they limit 76+year olds to a maximum of 31 days per trip and this overrides their other policy option to buy a 31-day extension. It is not cheap but US medical costs can be astronomical, so it is understandable and I am signed up and very grateful. Reviewed on: 21st September 2022
