I have banked with the Co op Bank for many, many years. I have always been proud of 'my' bank for their excellent customer service but since the pandemic, I have experienced nothing but frustration. The last time I tried to contact Customer Services, I waited 30 minutes, was disconnected from the person I finally got to speak to and then had to wait another 30 minutes to speak to someone. The entire process cost me over £6 in call charges. Whenever I use the messaging function, to seek solutions to banking issues, I get a message back to say I need to call Customer Services. I'm exploring options to move to another bank. Reviewed on: 29th September 2022
