MULTIPLE EXCESS TRAP WITH PETWISE

BE AWARE! If you have a claim with your regular vet who then refers you on to another for treatment that they cannot provide you will get caught for the excess FOR EACH TREATING VET. My dog has just been referred for a scan that my regular vet has not the equipment for and I have had to suck up 2 x the £199 excess that was not brought to my attention when I renewed. I am now stuck with this insurer for this condition as, if I change insurers, I won't be covered for the condition now being treated. Furious doesn't begin to describe my feelings just now.....
