Review of the Melton Building Society, Savings:

From NOT impressed to MORE impressed - a journey in progress!

Long story short.. Had a bit of a bad start with communications, and didn’t get the required info in time (as was travelling 80 miles to open account)…then didn’t get a prompt-ish phone call back from further e-mail requests (so had to make another call to push it along)… BUT then Fran on the phone was pleasant and informative , then Dawn at the Grantham branch was terrific , friendly patient…fast..and threw a much-needed cuppa into the deal ;o) Jay was also great on the phone for follow-up call. I really like these smaller Building Societies; they’re more personal and community driven, but they do need to keep on top of small details that make the difference in a very competitive market.
