Finally a bank that has enabled me control of my money

The features of the Monzo Current Account are just splendid. It allows me to set a budget in different categories (i.e. bills, groceries, shopping, entertainment, expenses etc) and then track it for the month because it is able to assign a category for each transaction you make (but it also lets you change category if needed), which has finally given me the feeling of being in control of where my money goes. The app is so user friendly, that it's easy to check my spending against my budget and I no longer dread checking my account balance. With the account you can also set up smaller saving accounts (called pots) which makes it easy to save for bigger expenses (e.g. annual insurance payments, holidays, car costs) and a rainy day fund! I would love it if Monzo was able to introduce cashback deals on their current account, but that would be the cherry on top.
