Review of the Snoop, Personal finance app:

Snoop App (IOS)

Snoop is an awesome tool to get a better view of your finances. The process of adding bank accounts through both open banking and offline is simple and quick. I would highly recommend for anyone who has multiple bank accounts, or just wants better insights than what their banking apps currently offer. Things Snoop does well: The app is very well made and the UI is clean and simple. The "Snoops" are relevant and helpful for finding offers and deals, but also for gaining an understanding of your spending. Although it would seem like they're just advertisements, as they are relevant and useful they do not feel that way. Spending Insights both with the custom categories and Snoops are very helpful for seeing where your money is going. Snoop plus is fairly priced and provides a lot of value. Things Snoop doesn't do well: It doesn't show offline accounts when on desktop, as if you use them the statistics will be inaccurate making the desktop mode a lot less useful. The ability to split transactions. For example if you split a meal which costed £20 between two people and they paid you half, you can put that you're responsible for just £10. At the moment the only option is to exclude, which makes your analytics inaccurate. The graphs are very limited and not interactive. Features I would love to see implemented: The ability to categorise transactions while pending, they immediately get auto categorised so would be nice to be able to adjust that while still pending. An optional dark theme. Overall this is easily the best budgeting and money management app I have come across, and I would recommend giving it a try.
