Review of the Zopa, Smart Saver:

Fantastic

I decided to look for a savings account that would pay more interest than my bank (0.05%). I looked on the Martin Lewis site & after looking at a couple of banks I decided Zopa suited me best. I am able to save towards specific things by transferring money from my main ‘pot’ into an unlimited number of different pots, either with a 31 day notice or more. I keep some money in my main pot for emergencies & the rest I split between my other pots. I set up a standing order to transfer money to my Zopa account & also transfer money when I have some spare. I have found this very easy to build up savings for different things. What I also like is that Zopa let me know when money has went into my account plus when the interest changes, my account interest changes too. It really couldn’t be easier!!
