AVOID - Funds fossil fuel industry

AVOID - I have been with HSBC for quite a lot of years now. As a bank, they are ok to use, but i am so disappointed and angry about the billions of pounds that they invest in the fossil fuel industry. If banks actually cared about the world/ people etc then they would divest the money away from the dangerous fossil fuels that is harming the environment and move the investments into more sustainable industries. Great ethos and ethical bank

I have been a new customer since last summer. Triodos is a great ethical bank and it gives me peace of mind that my money is being used for good causes, rather than funding the fossil fuel industry that is a large cause of concern when it comes to tackling climate change and reducing emissions. As a bank, they are easy to use and the customer service agents on the phone are lovely. Reviewed on: 26th January 2023
