Review of the Privilege, Car Insurance:

Logged that my car had its catalytic converter stolen so claim could start. Police investigating & obtained a crime reference number & claim reference number from privilege. Asked to get the car delivered to Cheltenham as the recovery company wanted the car out of their compound in Bristol. Car delivery to Cheltenham. Informed by privilege my car would be fixed in 7 days- a complete lie. No curtesy car. Received a text message informing me a garage in Gloucester was fixing my car. I hit the roof as I didn’t know where & what was happening to my car. Called privilege to seek clarify, 45 minutes on the phone waiting to be then informed very rudely they can’t help me as their system is down. I asked them to take down my information & call me, they rudely refused. Now they are delaying everything & refusing to offer me a curtesy car. Read the reviews for Direct line, churchill & privilege ( all owed by uk insurance) you can then draw your own conclusion. From my own experience I have had the worst experience ever & will NOT recommend to anyone. Filled complaints but they take no notice. The ombudsman will have to sort this out for me.
