Easy to use and personable customer care is excellent

Initially the online service helped loads with not feeling like I wanted to discuss this with anyone. However, when I did need advice StepChange customer services have been fantastic: Non judgemental, knowledgeable and extremely friendly every time I’ve used them. They definitely helped with the anxiety of having to contact a debt service for help and then the specifics of contacting debtors with a plan. If you need help, don’t ignore it any longer just fill out the online questions, you can take your time and go back to it as many times as you need before submitting - which was good for me as disabled and concentration is poor. Honest company, rare!

The loan details are clear and precise the interest rate was excellent. Changing payment dates has been simple without any forfeit. Just appear to be an honest company that’s not out to fleece people, which is rare in this day and age. Reviewed on: 13th June 2025

Straight forward & flexible

Taken out 2 loans with Zopa both have been low APRs. The ap is excellent as it allows you to see how much you’re paying off and you can change payment dates (sometimes paying a little extra or less depending on when you pay) They’re flexible and honest unlike most other lenders!
