Good Interest rate without locking money in

4
After my bank removed interest rates in their main account and restricted access to the easy savers account I was searching for a good place to keep my emergency fund while earning some interest and still having access and not being locked in. I tried a few places but decided to go with Tembo due to the high interest rate. No regrets! Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Good for those without time for self managed portfolios

4
Personally I dont have much time to manage my portfolio by myself, but I also dont want my money to stay stagnant. With wealthify I can let my money work for a small fee which has been great so far. During the last year where I had more money to invest my portfolio saw the biggest growth boost very similar to self managed portfolios. No complaints! Reviewed on: 31st January 2026

Make your money grow for you

4
I decided to invest into my future, got into a better spending habbit and make sure to save 20% of my income each month. However, my money has been lying in the bank wasting away for well over 2 years. I decided long term investment is the way to go as soon as i turned 18. I had a read about my options. Pension investments, locked investments with government funding and also considered investing myself. However, I don't like to lock my money away for years and I don't have the time to invest myself or learn how to do it effectively. Wealthify allows me to make my money work for me for a small fee, while still having the option to withdraw my money at any moment I may need it. It also has a great record of how much their This won't be an option for everyone. But for people like me, this is one of the best options out there. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Great bank, Great money management

Starling bank is a great and modern option for people of all ages. No worrying about bank branches, no pointless visits. Just an app, great support and great service. Their app is modern and slick, with one of the best banking app UIs I have experienced. It shows your spending, allows you to create sub accounts called "saving spaces" where you can manage your money better and set yourself goals. First thing you see when you enter the app is a general sum you've spent this month, with a piechart showing where you have spent your money. Making it easier to weed out unnecessary expenses, and help yourself limit your spending. The saving spaces are probably my favourite feature. I don't have to create a seperate account for my savings, i simply create a saving space and enjoy a higher interest in my account as my savings grow. I can also set up automatic transfers and direct debits to be billed directly from a saving space meaning I can have a seperate history for specific services. This includes rent, bills, investments, holidays and so much more. I can easily set up a virtual card meaning that if I want to subscribe to services, they will not get my main debit card details, making it so much easier to restrict access to my hard earned money if cancelling a subscription service turns out to be bothersome (I simply cancel my digital card and create a new one in the worst case scenario!). Not to mention if a service I have subscribed to has a data breach, the breached card will only have access to that specific saving space, not my whole account! Meaning I don't have to wait until a new card is sent to me so I can continue to use my account undisturbed. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023
