Finding a bank for my son's Discretionary Trust, Metro to the rescue.

When Nat West closed the account (along with many other banks) for my special needs son's Discretionary Trust in the summer of 2022 they sent the notification and a cheque for the balance to the wrong address and we didn't get it for 4 months. We had to move fast and Metro Bank were the only one prepared to provide an account for a Trust. Because two trustees lived in Shropshire and one in Kent we had to deal with two branches, Wolverhampton and Canterbury to do it. Both were incredibly helpful and supportive and made it really easy. They really rode to the rescue when all the others were riding in the opposite direction. They were brilliant, the best bank I've ever dealt with. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023
