Overall the best

I have been with Metro bank almost since they came to the UK and having been with various of the UK high street banks over the years, Metro are far and away the best. The fact that the debit card can be printed in store is a unique feature that is truly revolutionary! With other banks the hoops one has to jump through if you live in the country and are not at your registered address is usually exhausting and obstructive. The Metro app is also the best I have used as it their security checks. The customer service too has always been excellent whether in store on on the telephone. Some elderly clients of mine recently had a Trust account closed with short notice and only Metro was able to offer them a replacement account. They are in the mid 80s and Metro were caring and responsive throughout the transfer process. Reviewed on: 12th March 2023
