Amazingly helpful fantastic customer service

My in-laws had been telling me for years (since they opened locally) how good they were frequently suggesting we should change to them before we actually did. We eventually succumbed when we had some troubles with previous bank and we haven’t looked back since in fact our children like it so much they have since decided to not open up accounts with them which there both very nervous and shy so this was came as quite the shock. We put this down to the level of customer service and how their face to face approach makes you feel so welcome compared to other banks. Also their longer opening hours makes if a lot easier to go in and sort things instead of spending hours on the phone on hold or having to then book an appointment to go the local branch. Love the little features you get with Metro also like be able to get a new debit card printed in Bank rather than having to wait for a new bank card to be sent then wait for the new pin no. to come separately and the facial recognition if you forget your bank card and need cash you go into branch and they use that to allow you to withdraw cash out over the counter in the bank.
