Hanley Economic Building Society is fantastic.

Hanley are very much on the ball and their customer service is fast to work on anything needed by a customer. It is lovely to speak to someone on the phone, who will personally look at something for you and help you get an answer from someone else. A small gripe that I have is that interest rates for some accounts are low and that there is maintenance every night on online banking, which means that deposits/withdrawals cannot be made at these times.
