Chase have it spot on! - other banks take note

I've worked in the industry for competitors and can say wholly that Chase as an emerging competitor have gotten it so right with their current account and as a bank in general. For too long banks have taken charges for spending as profit with no incentive to the customer. Current account choice was mainly on pick a brand you like and it's the same service, not anymore! Chase have absolutely bolted out of the starting blocks in this market! The rewards was an ingenious idea and the fact they extended it really shows the customer first attitude they bring to banking not just another ploy to get customer numbers up. The sign up procedure was simple and effective, understandably there is security involved with opening a new bank account but chase made it anything but threatening or complex. I cant say the same experience for other banks. I felt welcome and confident in chase from first engagement, happy, chirpy and ready to serve. Even in the face of huge demand of applications they kept everyone well informed and completed opening promptly. For someone who worked high volume demand in chargebacks during the pandemic I know how difficult this must have been for Chase. Chase staff should be appreciated for their efforts here. I've had little need to speak to chase the account runs so seemlesslly however when I have had to chat to them I've been delighted to speak to someone on live chat in minutes. I absolutely love this feature over waiting in a 30 minute call queue with other banks. Moving of money between accounts is instant both internal and external and even down to the little notifications saying moneys arrived, its all these little components so well thought out by Chase make it my go to current account. When there has been system outages etc. I'm well informed through the app / notifications they are just so quick with comms its exceptional. Overall I feel they have done an exceptional job entering the market, I cannot recommend them enough. Pity I'm no longer in the bank industry as asides from being a customer I'd certainly be looking to entertain them as an employer that is how good they come across.
