Review of the Chase Bank, Current account:

Refreshing new kid on the block that hits target consistently

5
I’m a lifelong (59) year NatWest customer. Might I add - Private Banking too - so my expectations are quite high. Over the years I’ve dabbled with other banks as the institutions that are mainstream banking have become less relevant. I was looking for a banking option that rewarded me - in a true Quid Pro Quo way - through incentives. My cashback credit card offered a pittance, so my search was underway in 2022. Chase it seemed offered this. However so do others. The pivotal difference however was the app, the slick nature of how transactions work, just … everything. I set up a Chase account out of curiosity. Within a week I was converted. My wife too within days. The Chase app makes banking sexy. That sounds utterly ridiculous, but it does. Transactions are instant. New transactions are flagged, so you can control any sketchy activity. Moving money is literally idiot proof. I can’t praise the developers enough. Some proper thought went into this and it simply works. If someone in year 60 gets excited by a digital banking app, someone needs buying a pint and given a medal. There’s a reason why after my pension hits my NatWest account, that within 12 hours everything has left there and hit my Chase account. It’s the future. Sorry to tell you this, but, garlic bread isn’t. Chase banking is. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
