Poor customer service

I went to a branch to get money from my account, it was my goddaughters 21st birthday and I wanted to give her £4000 towards her car. The staff in the branch demanded to know why I wanted my money, they said if I didn't tell them, they could refuse to give me my money. Even when I told them why I wanted my money, I was then told by the staff not to be rude. I asked them if they had sufficient funds to give my my cash if I closed down all my accounts with immediate effect I soon got my cash.
