Review of the Nottingham Building Society, Fixed Rate ISA:

5 year fixed rate ISA.

Took the chance to take the 5 year fixed rate ISA. Only available for a short time in the 25/26 window. A market leading rate at the time. I was previously had a beehive savings product which transferred over automatically. As an existing app user I opened the account in minutes and deposited without issue on the same day. It seemed a prudent move given the uncertain future of cash ISAs. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

A bit convoluted

On the plus side, a good interest rate and a welcome bonus. The downside is that the process seems a bit convoluted. A fixed rate bond can take up to 5 days before you can withdraw after maturity. Unless it's a market leading rate I would probably go for something simpler. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Top of the league

For a saver, their rates are always competitive. Website seems secure and easy to navigate...on the one occasion I had to contact them they were very helpful and changed my nominated bank account quickly and without fuss.
