... best current I have had in over 60 years!!

Interest on everyday spending rare for many current account banks. So easy to switch between save and spend accounts both earning interest. Response to Customer Service query phone calls is excellent. Response is available any time of day or night. A rarity for current accounts,. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026

Changed 2 years ago. Get 1% on everything I spend from current account. Optionof ‘round up account which puts excess of anything over zero on spend to separate ac giving 5%(optional) - like popping change in a jar but no messing with cash.! Any queries can be found on app easily but phone help is best ever experienced. Helpful reps have always answer my call with in 2 minutes. Transfer easily beweeen my spend Ac give 1% and my Save Ac giving 4.1%. No currency charges when I visit USA and good rate of exchange. Best bank I have ever had and I am 75!!! Best current and instant access savings.

App is brilliant. 1% on all current ac spend.Instant alerts on spending and direct debit/standing order payments enables instant control. Great savings interest. Any queries- staff answer phone within 3 minutes. Best bank I’ve ever had. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
