I had an accident. Uninsured driver hit me in the back, admitted it was his fault, police came, they have taken statements. Called the insurance and informed them about incident and was left with nothing. Had to arrange transport for the car. Before they contacted me again I had 10 calls from so called solicitors, regards to the accident. Had to chase them for anything to be done. Almost each time I had to give them the details of the accident (when, where, who etc.) I gave them the police ref number 4 times. Almost 3 weeks since incident they send me some form regards the accident because it wasn’t clear whose fault it was. To top it up I’ve waited almost a week for someone to come and pick my car up and provide courtesy car. Which was taken back after few days, because my car got written off; and here the real fun starts here. After they written off the car (leaving me without a car) and me sending back the form, I received a letter from their solicitors that they will make a claim to MIB in my name and they asked same stupid questions. Called them to cancel the insurance (as I have no car) and they said it would cost me 740 pounds! Because I made a claim and it doesn’t matter that the incident wasn’t my fault, not mentioning I lost the ncd because they couldn’t get the costs back. Now it is 4 weeks since the incident and I have no car but have to pay the insurance, so I bought a car ( 2002 carisma ) and called them to change the car on policy. I had a corsa 2005 bought a carisma 2002 and they said I can change the car but the premium will be 220 a month ( was 140) They are useless and they rip off. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2016
