So nice you do not realize they are a bank

First Direct has always been an incredibly helpful and serviceable bank to do my personal banking with. I have always wanted them to be my business bank as well. Staff are extremely helpful, very well trained and cannot do enough for you as well as being available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They answer the phone with a smile, which is rare in the banking world. They are the first bank that I know to have voice recognition, so you don’t need to waste time and energy going through security questions. I have banked with them for the last 30 years and have never been disappointed. Why can’t all banks recognize that we are customers and human beings, and treat us the same as First Direct treat their customers. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

7 days a week and long hours- they understand business!

Metro bank is there online, in person/in store and in the call centers 7 days a week and not just 9-5. With their help I can sort out financial tasks whenever I want. They are personable and helpful, unlike the big UK high street 4 who couldn’t care a jot. Metro provide a real service to businesses and understand that these days work continues through the evenings and at weekends. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023
