Monzo Plus is helping me to change the way I manage my money

I signed up for Monzo Plus at the beginning of May and it really is helping me to manage my money differently. Although there is a small (£5) monthly fee for having this type of account, the benefits are very much worth the cost. Being able to set custom categories for my spending, look at trends, get spending reports, and set budget targets is making me pay far more attention to what I am spending and where, and I eagerly check the Trends tab in my app every morning to make sure that I am still on track. Given that I have a history of compulsive spending due to mental health issues, the fact that I am now able to get control of my spending really is a huge step forward for me, and Monzo Plus is the main reason I have been able to do this. So easy to save & manage my money!

I have been using Zopa for around six months. It’s so easy to set up different pots of money and to lock away money for set periods of time. The interest rates are really good and it’s quick and easy to move money between pots or transfer it to a different account. I am getting better at managing my finances thanks to Zopa’s Smart Saver!
