From the start they were supportive, helped me

From the start they were supportive, helped me set up my DMP - Debt Management Plan, i didn't feel judged. i was so embarrassed of the mess i had got into, but they helped me work through it and contacted the companies i owed money too. I got a cooling off period so i couldn't be contacted - i was able to breathe again. i will be paying back for a few years yet, but i do have an end date and i feel more in control and able to budget properly to prevent me from getting into debt again in the future. they regular update my DMP and if there are any changes, such as reduce hours at work or anything, they quickly and easily adjust my budget with me to make sure its affordable. Stepchange saved my life

Stepchange saved my life as i was in despair, scared and stressed. They helped me get organised and still made it affordable so i could live. They contacted all the companies i owed money to and negotiated the payment plan, i feel.more in control and i know I have an end date to becoming debt free. Other companies wanted to charge me, but i couldnt afford anything. Step change helped me free and it was a life saver. I cant thank them enough. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Efficient, Friendly and Repsonsive

I love Metro Bank for its ease of use. Its so easy to apply for an account online and when my card had issues, i went instore and they printed one there and then and reset my pin so easily. Its a really good mix of being able to go online and do things for myself and actually speaking to a real person when i need to. The queues in the bank were well managed so i didn't have to wait long - they were friendly and helpful and they didn't make me feel like i was wasting their time and i didn't have to book an appointment and come back days later - they helped me there and then. i have since recommended at least 3 people to join who were looking to change banks - and i would continue to recommend them.
