In February, the process initially progressed smoothly, and we were able to complete the income and expenditure assessment without issue. However, the matter was not resolved until the middle of April due to repeated delays. These delays arose primarily because two scheduled appointments were cancelled. Despite informing your team on multiple occasions that I am unable to answer phone calls during working hours, I continued to receive calls at times when I was unavailable. Both pre-arranged telephone appointments had been scheduled for after work hours, yet neither took place as agreed, which was extremely frustrating. On one occasion, when I called back, I was informed that applications were not being accepted in my area. This raises the question as to why the appointment was scheduled in the first place. After several attempts to make contact, I eventually spoke with a representative and advised that I would be making a formal complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, citing a potential breach of consumer duty and the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused. While the matter has now been resolved, this was only achieved after I escalated the issue. I am concerned that, had I not done so, I may have been subjected to further delays and additional cancelled appointments. Reviewed on: 15th April 2026

Keeping my head above water !!

Fantastic bank and a great way, with the cashplus card, to save up and have a card to use when my wages aren't enough. I work and get commission but sometimes the weeks are slow so the commission is less. Top up cashplaus when i am flush and spend when i am not. Its a godsend. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023
