Absolute Nightmare

Ongoing unresolved issue. Small business that uses their invoicing function to invoice customers & pay subcontractors. Have now had the account frozen 3 times in 2 months for them to verify it’s a legitimate business (Ltd company). Have sent copies of everything asked for, no issue there. They then ask repeatedly for the sane or further information to be sent again. Replied saying all been sent, have nothing else to send, get a response - with so many spelling & grammatical errors you would think you were being scammed - asking for exactly the same thing again. Reply with ‘please see above response’ to then get exactly the same later. Complaint raised, not that I’m expecting much, now looking at alternative business accounts. It’s embarrassing that we have customers contacting us to ask if there is a problem with the account (Tide have stopped ‘paused’ payments being received) and we are unable to pay self employed subcontractors, right before a bank holiday weekend Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
