I tried to swich my Halifax current account to an existing NatWest rewards account. Some time later I received a text message asking me for my date of birth, I assumed this was a scam text as NatWest had my details and it is part of the log in procedure so I forwarded it to the NatWest fraud team and heard no more until an email saying the transfer had failed. I was then told I need to go online and use CORA messaging system to speak to an agent. From here it went downhill fast, the response times were over 4 hours!. Reviewed on: 21st April 2023
