I was delighted to come across Plata in 2023 when I needed a small loan (£8k) Most other lenders were not willing to help as I had a very temporary blip to my finances in 2018 due to change in personal circumstances which I have worked very hard to reverse the damage to my credit score, but thankfully, due to forward-thinking lenders such as Plata who have not been opportunistic with outrageous APR's allowed me to borrow and get firmly back on my feet with my financial situation. Willing to say 'Yes'

Following previous bankruptcy as a result of change in personal circumstances, my credit score took a huge hit and my record was understandably 'blacklisted' with most lenders, but Vanquis were one of few who were prepared to offer credit again and take a chance with me, considering perhaps that I had previously had a very good credit record. They offered me a loan where I assumed it would be impossible and helped me get back on my feet and I'm now steadily returning my credit file back to a healthy position. Thank you Vanquis.
