SCU cares

As an international nurse, it was not easy to settle down especially with all the increases in the market. It was SCU that cares a lot and gave me the opportunity to start. The loan that they have provided me was used to secure the house for my family from the Philippines. SCU with a Heart!

It was not easy at all to settle in Sheffield, UK from the Philippines however only Sheffield Credit Union (SCU) understood the needs of every beginning International Nurses and that makes this company truly reliable and compassionate union. The process of the application was really fascinating! I was in doubt at first that it will not be approved since I am just new here but prayer has been answered. The borrowed amount helped me find the perfect property that my family was occupying right now. Without SCU, I might be having some difficulties financially but with them, you can always trust them. They will certainly explain the process in the language you will be able to understand. That's why I would always recommend SCU to my Filipino cohorts and friends. A Credit Union that cares.

I am new to the country, and I have moved from the Philippines. I've worked as a Staff Nurse at NHS Trust and with all the bills here, and remittance to my family back in my home country, it was not enough. My family is coming over and that I really needed to secure the house for us to live but I do not have the money for deposit and rent. I have applied with any other loan companies last month but unfortunately, I have been declined. Surpisingly, I was browsing the benefits section of the trust I am working with, I have found Sheffield Credit Union. I did an application and received a letter in my mailbox from them regarding membership procedure. I have visited the office a day after and the lovely lady told me that my online application was approved with £2000,the exact money that I needed to secure the house for my 3 children to whom I did not see for the past 9 months. Sheffield Credit Union was not only a company for me but a lifesaver. They care about you and will guide you throughout the application. I have even recommended it to International Nurses like me that if they needed an aid with settling here in this country, the trust has the best buddy to help us. Reviewed on: 24th May 2023
